Attention Spring Breakers!!!

Are you going to go on vacation within the next like 17 years?

WELL GREAT!

This post is for you!

You are about to receive some tips from the greatest over packer of all time. BUT, it’s only overpacking if you call it that. I call it being prepared.

Tip 1- MAKE A LIST!!!!!!!!!!

Below are my most recent mostly checked off lists from my SB trip to Nashville!

Bonus: get yourself a cute notebook and hand write it! No better feeling then crossing something off your list!

Tip 2- Don’t think about unpacking all of it! Enjoy the fun of packing a bunch of cute outfits for your fun vacay!

Tip 3- Lay everything out, then put it in the bag. That way you can make sure you have everything and double checking is simple!

Tip 4- Once you have your items, then work on getting them in the bag! Rolling or crisply folding the clothes definitely helps even the most chronic over packers!

MAJOR TIP 5- This is the key to my whole packing process!

The way I make sure I am not forgetting something is by doing a mind walk through of my room and house. Let me explain. While making my list, collecting my items, and double checking my bags I sit and visualize starting with my bedroom!

I start in one section of the room and write everything down from that part I will need! Then I go around the whole room, through my dresser and closet, then the bathroom. I visualize what’s in every drawer, each shelf and it goes on the list. Then think around the whole house! Do you need snacks? List. Cards? List. Sunscreen? List. Camera? List. Alcohol? LIST!

Everything you need is in your house, 97% of the time (Glaus, 2019). So why not visualize or physically walk around if needed to make a full proof comprehensive list!

This works well if you are crazy organized and know where everything is like me.

Tip 6- More lists:) Make one of things you need to buy for the trip and one for the things you need to do to prepare for the trip! ~~The things on your buy list should also be on your main list! Just because you buy it doesn’t ensure you pack it!

Tip 7- Double check, triple, and quadruple check that list! Then check it again.

Now for your convenience I’m providing a list of some of my most missed items when packing! You can also look at my crossed off lists above to see what you might be missing this Spring Break!

Winter sucks and so does this outfit!

So I decided since I’m really am obsessed with myself, I’m gonna post pics of my fits! For fun. It’s not a fashion blog.

Just because I feel like it’s really blogger of me to say “here’s my OOTD”.

This outfit is what I like to call how many girls does it take to get a car unstuck?

Colton is in love with 4 women!

Its Monday. What else would we be talking about?

Monday’s are a holiday in our household. We even had a roommate (Kenzie) switch her availability at work to no Monday Nights. It’s serious. Every Monday Bach sesh must be paired with a drink, we have done wine, Moscow mule’s, mojitos and my personal favorite MARGARITAS.

It wouldn’t be a college student margarita without a cheap spin. Our lovely college home does not have one of those automatic ice dispensers. So, when a spontaneous blended margarita night comes up we never have enough ice!

At one of our Monday drink nights the Margaritas needed a bit more ice. So then came a great idea. SNOW! We laced up our boots, and quickly ran out with a cup, and got 1,2,3,4…. then 5 or more cups of snow. It melts quickly in case you didn’t know!

So here they are… Snow Margaritas, a new 1418 signature.

For everyone who wanted the recipe. Read carefully.

New Blog, Who Dis?

Hi everybody,

Here is my first blog post.

The following are what you need to know.

  1. I will for sure misspell… a lot. BUT LIKE RELAX. I don’t care and you can definitely still comprehend it!
  2. I say and will write “like” a lot!
  3. Oh, and I use plenty of exclamation marks!!!!!!!
  4. I’ll always make sure to include pictures, I love them.
  5. Most of my posts won’t be too serious
  6. I started this because I’m not in school right now and I needed something to do. So, for that reason, this Blog can be anything it wants to be.
  7. That also means I have no idea how much I’ll post. This could very well be my first and last post. LOL.
  8. There isn’t really a theme, I’m workin’ on that 😉
  9. This Blog is for my family and friends to check out what I’m doing. Especially since I will be moving soon.
  10. It’s for anyone who wants to see the fun, creative, over the top, yet boring struggles of Twenty-somethings.
  11. It’s for someone who seems to be workin’ on everything and just needs some sunshine and something to make them smile.

So here it is.

If any of that interests you, or if you are related to me or are my friend (which means this part is mandatory)… bookmark this page, follow me on social media. Like and subscribe girl, aye!

But seriously. Follow the Blog.

And lastly,

Welcome to my Blog life.Â
